Last Friday was my free meal. A part of BistroMDs meal plan is to allow you to eat one meal of your choice every week. It says "this Night." The only catch is you have to carry the day. So on Friday I went to Applebees with my wife and friends.We had all kinds of appetizers is served and a whole lot of alcohol to celebrate my sister-in-law's birthday. [citation needed] the next day felt terrible.I ruined my whole week trode.
Well, we all know that part of the dedication of sticking to a plan is to resist the temptation. "My Night "is in place for a couple of reasons. It is supposed to make me think right portion sizes and healthy meal choices. It is a tool to enable me to go out and eat food that is not on the schedule, but still have the power to not fall from the cart.
I went a little wild on the "my Night." the good news is that I am on Wednesday, september 1, 2010, the offsets on the scale of 249 pounds. So I lost three pound this week! I thought for sure there was no way to have lost any weight after all I had put in my body this evening. I was wrong.
When I planned my cheat day made it, it's easy not to cheat during the week. I have also learned that there is the research behind this concept. Dr Cederquist, (who founded BistroMD) and her staff at the medical clinic at, if you have a scheduled break in a diet, you will look forward to it and want to schedule your selections. In this way, you are much less likely to break your diet and go binge.This Night concept can also me, regardless of it may be that I have really requires.
Each time you get tempted to eat something I know I should not eat tell me, "Friday is just around the corner".This trick also the body into believing it has not been revoked from the love to eat food.
