On top of the children, manage a household and working a full-time job is great pressure to have a look, society is acceptable.Women can, at times, not only feel the pressure from the opposite sex, but from other women. it can be a constant competition to fit in and be better than the rest.

Put the vanity away, there are positive aspects of having a good self image. thinking about yourself in a positive light gives you the ability to implement even your daily tasks and allows you to do it with confidence.

But today's culture pushed women too long causing them to occupy more than they look?

An article with the title "women's problems, then and now ', touches on an interesting study by glamour, which States," three quarters of women aged 18-35 reported feeling also fat, while only one-quarter of them could be so described. " The study goes on to say that almost 50 percent of surveyed women choose to lose 10 pounds rather than land their dream job or meeting their future love.

How the priorities of our women get so skewed?

Even if the blade and the media have a tendency to only give women today, which is light enough praise or attractive enough for the average woman should not base its self image on appearance alone.

A woman's self image can be directly related to her self worth. When a woman looks at itself with disgust, she can also regard themselves as unusable. The article "a positive Self image and Self considers" says that, "improve your self-image … takes time and practice. Develop good self-esteem means to promote a positive (but realistic) attitude toward yourself and … appreciating your worth. Self-esteem is not self-absorption; It's self-respect. "

While we all want to look good and be accepted, is the important issue of our overall health. There are plenty of women today, which may appear healthy and satisfying the requirements of the society's emphasis on the outside, but as living quite unhealthy lifestyle.Achieve the so called ideal body image can be fatal. Some women resort to starving themselves or eat very little should appeal to the other.

What it boils down to is, overweight is harmful to health.Health issues such as diabetes, heart disease and high cholesterol in women can be linked directly to become overweight. And when your physical health are in decline, your mental health will deteriorate as well.Your body and your mind is connected directly to a work is not good without the other.

Our society should change the way they look at women. it should move the focus to lose weight, for health reasons, not for vanity. If there were not so much pressure on us to look a certain way, it would be easier to perhaps to make a lifestyle change.

Just a thought.
